Women Of the Word Ministry

Philippians 2:2

Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Purpose:

To minister to the needs of the women spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially; healing for past and present issues.

As a ministry our goal is to reach women on all levels and to bridge the gap by incorporating the following:

1.  Bible Study

         a.  4th Saturday of the month

2.  Life Application Studies for Women

3.  Book lessons

Book Lessons:

1.  Give Me 40 Days (an Invitation for an encounter with God)

     By: Freeda Bowers

(The number 40 is mentioned over 120 times in the Bible, which means it is significant. As a matter of fact everything that is mentioned in the Bible is significant, but we must study and learn the importance of what God is telling us to do as women.)

2.  Power of a Praying Woman

     By: Stormy O’Martin

Ministry Goals:

3.  Prayer Line / Prayer Box

James 5:16

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Prayer is the breath of the spiritual man, and it is the reverberation of the Spirit of God in him; and this type of prayer cannot fail.

         a.  Prayer warriors and Intercessors will pray for the women in the church

         b.  We will have the box for anyone who wants to request prayer anonymously

4.  Fellowship

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Having fellowship with one another is a sure result of the fellowship with God

         a.  Fellowship with each other

         b.  Fellowship with other Women Ministries within the association

5.    Secret Sisters

         a.  To encourage each other and build relationships

         d.    College students (visit and keep in touch with them)

7.    Reaching the young ladies of the church
