Trustee Ministry

Purpose Statement:

A group of elected members that takes care of the church properties and manage the total material possessions of the church on the church behalf.  To take care of the worldly business of the running a church, by managing finances and properties, and ensure the church is complaint with any legal requirements. All of these things will be done with great love for God and the church family. 

Ministry Scripture:

Luke 12:42-43 And the Lord said, “Who then is faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.”

Our Duties:

Maintain the safe-keeping, protection, maintenance and repair of church facilities, furnishing, and all equipment such as heating, cooling lighting and storage.

Ensure all church equipment is working properly.

Repair or replace all worn items or equipment, landscaping and care of grounds and parking facilities.

Take actions in emergency situations regarding church facilities, furnishings and grounds.

Act on the church behalf when the church considers securing additional or selling property and furnishings.

Serve as a resource team in facility safety, security and crime prevention issues.

Conduct annual inventory, inspection and evaluation of all church property and equipment

Make recommendations concerning maintenance and usage of church parking facilities and signage.

Ensure church properties inside and outside are clean, maintained and presentable at all times

Adhere to the guidelines of the Piney Grove Baptist Church By-Laws.
